接着复原梯形的棱块。我找了一些“偶尔路过”、“寒水”等人给出的四阶棱块公式,我用起来不熟练,技巧(setup等)也不高,下面调整棱块过程显然不是最好的(也不会优化),各位指正。

“偶尔路过”、“寒水”等人给出过很多四阶棱块公式,我记不住那么多,下面试试在四阶八面体的心块调整好以后,只用较好记的一个调棱公式(包括正公式、逆公式、对称式和逆对称式,视情况选用)来调棱。
下图所示三个棱块(梯形块)的逆时针轮换是: TR D MB D' B2 D MB' D' B2 TR'

被调动的三个棱块可以都复原,也可以部分复原,这还与做公式前的setup技巧有关。为了不破坏已经复原的各心块,作调棱公式前的setup步骤要用两层转。

虽然四阶八面体和四阶一样变化、复原,还是有其特点的。其棱块只有一色,翻色换位时,不是体现在“翻色”上,而是体现在其梯形方向翻转上,这样,正好不破坏八面体外形。
所以,遇到四阶那样的“单翻棱”情况时,不必用“15步公式”交换两棱,可以改用三棱轮换公式,看上去好像二交换一样。如果用了“15步公式”,反而暴露了顶面四心整体180°的“隐私”--普通四阶各面四心已经同色的话,四心的这一变化看不出,就“蒙混过关”了:
