Wow~~~!!!
That was amazing to watch! I absolutely adore your turning style, you make sub 4 look SO~~ easy.
From the footage I saw you should just work on pausing less during execution, (you have like 1-2 regrip pauses before you get to LL where you have a recognition pause) but those pauses will slowly go away when you do a few thousand more solves (as you'll get used to doing those regrips faster). but beside that it looks really good, your solutions are good for every scramble as far as I can see, and execution is good, except it looks like you are still a bit "inexperienced" but that will go away with practise, keep up the practise you are already doing, it looks REALLY good, you have potential to do sub 3.5 average EASILY if you keep practising, just give it half a year or so.
Is it okay if I post http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/5Iko9S86FhU/?FR=LIAN on Speedsolving.com forum?
Hello Yi Wang,
thanks! What do you mean by "all prognosis"? like seeing the whole solve during the inspection? I'm out of practise for that, so right now I do that like 1/6 solves, but I used to do it for 4 out of 5 solves
What is your thoughts?Did you remember many conditions?
Hello,
Can you please introduce yourself?
I only know the last 3 edges algorithms. I find that one-looking is not THAT hard if you know how to do it correct (it requires tracking 1-2 pieces 1-5 moves or so)
I usually do the same.
Hi Wangyi,
I'm sorry for my late answer.
It is very hard to explain the technique used for one looking, but I'll try to simplify it:
Learn how all the simple tricks used to finish all the centers+top affects the last layer edges.
During inspection you usually have a solution consisting of a few intuitive moves combined with some tricks.
You track your last layer edges the few intuitive moves, since you already know how the tricks used to finish up the top+centers affects the LL edges you can actually already predict the Last 3 edges case.
Please note that tracking 1 edge is sufficient for permutation of LL, tracking 2 edges will also give you the orientation of it, there is never a need to track more than 2 LL pieces.
Best Regards
Oscar Roth Andersen
1Watching your video, I was surprised that you understand my method
almost completely.
But there are still some way to improve.
In both your solvings in the video, the third edge piece was putted
around the top center piece when you finished the second step (turning
three bottom-face center pieces). That is bad case. There is a way to
avoid this bad case. I always change the order of turning center pieces
(second step) to avoid this bad case, if I realize in inspection.
And, the algorithm you used in the video should be handle like that the
picture show.
Perhaps, my english is not good and you can't understand...
2> I see .but if the first step have not been finished ,it will be not easy
> to observe ,is there any ways to solve ?
It's need practice to recognize if it's bad case or not in inspection
(about 12sec), but it's possible because I can do it.
>I want to know these five condition‘s technique.
I use the only algorithm for condition 2.
2. UL'U'L-R'LRL'
3I always avoid such case, with the technique I explained yesterday.
But if you have to do the case 4 or 5, RU'R'U-L'R'LR is the best way, I
think...
> What to do 4.5?They are hard to do.
4Such case is not very bad. The number of moves to finish the second step
is 2 moves smaller than worst case (in which three centers need to
turn). So, even though it become the bad case, it's not very bad.
But sometimes I chose the other way. I turn center already placed
correct position to incorrect position on purpose, so that I can avoid
the bad case. It's difficult to explain.
5>How to return first step when you return three bottom-face center pieces?
You can do step 1 and step 2 at once with practice.
> U' L U' R B' L R' U l b u'
U is the green, red and yellow center, and two incorrect centers are R and B.
BbL'ULRr'-DRU'R'u'-xUL'U'LR'LRL'
6It's very difficult to explain.
I used a technique in the solving. Turning two centers to same direction
(clockwise or counter clockwise) makes one edge flip. Try following
examples:
(1) scramble: R'DL'R'L solve: RD'R (Turn two centers to same
direction and flip one edge)……
(2) scramble:R'DR'BD'B'U solve: y'ULR(Turn two centers to same
direction and flip one edge)……
The solving I send you yesterday is very like (2) after do BbL'.
So, meaning of BbL'ULRr' is:
BbL' make case (2)
ULRr' Turn two centers to ……
In the examples, U is the green, red and yellow center.

No. The technique is a part of the solvings like:
RD'R in (1),
LR in (2),
ULR of the solving (BbL'ULRr'-DRU'R'u'-xUL'U'LR'LRL') for the
scramble you send me (U' L U' R B' L R' U l b u' )
Just try the algorthm I write as solving.
8scrambleF is blue, D is yellow)
solveF is green D is blue)R'D'R'LlRr'DxU'RUR'u
I solved like that↑. But I don't think it's best way.
