I really don't understand how can Meffert's sale a RMB 10 cube for USD14.00(I mean the fisher cube,on taobao it only cost 10yuan)

想赚同情也不是这么说的吧？是该收藏家自己天然呆，还是当中国魔友是傻瓜？

可能在外国申请专利比较贵吧 而且魔方不如手机 人手必备 只有喜欢的人才会买 而喜欢的人也只有有钱的人才会买Meffert  可能我们单看价格觉得挺贵的 觉得Meffert就挺赚钱的 但可能实际情况并不是这样 薄利多销 他有吗 反之反之

How to answer that.  He may pay RMB10 for a cube-I don't know, I can only believe what he tells me, and it was more-but you forget his shipping costs.  He does not charge for it. So my understanding is the mark up is 7% for the inventor and the cost of shipping, packaging, labour.  He says he looses money, I believe him.  Just like I believe any post on this forum and others until proven that I cannot believe.  (I have an innocent heart)
I don't argue this point.  I just repeat what I have been told.  

And no, not only rich people buy Meffert's.  I know many high school kids in the states that got a job and saved to buy the puzzles they want from meffert's.  they are not rich.
