1.Your original family home is in Hong Kong?
你的祖籍是在香港？

Yes, my parents are originally from Hong Kong. They moved to the UK many years ago.
是的，我的父母是香港人。他们搬来英国很多年了。


2.Do you have a Chinese name? If so, what's your Chinese name?
有没有中文名？你的中文名叫什么？
I'm sorry my chinese is so bad. My parents didn't bother to teach me much chinese. I can't write my own name in chinese, but my parents can! :p
哦，很抱歉我的中文实在是太烂了。我父母甚至都没有教我中文。我不会写我的中文名字，但是我的父母会写。


3.Yau = A Chinese surname? Yau是中文姓氏？
Yes 是的。


4. Can you speak Chinese? 你会说中文吗？
I can speak a bit of cantonese. I understand more than I can speak it. I didn't practise speaking much cantonese when I was younger.
我能说一些粤语。我懂的比我会说的多。 主要我小时候不怎么说粤语。
