當然是麻煩Roxanne把他帶到我的店舖.
George

thank you !! Mr. George Miller
Gear Head USD$950.00
Oskar's Nut Case USD$175.00
Oskar's Nut Case Solution
Below is a picture of Oskar's Nut Case taken apart. Note carefully the orientation of the pieces. Specifically the "O" in the word "Oskar's" is aligned with the letter "t" in "Nut" and the letter "C" in "Case". This is the secret to solving Oskar's Nut Case. Always get the three pieces in this alignment before trying to push the two yellow bolts together. The two yellow bolts will only push together so far until the two nuts collide. Back off about 1/2 of a millimeter, then twist one of the two nuts away from the other and realign. Push the two yellow bolts together until the two nuts touch and repeat the above procedure until the bolts are entirely together. At this point twist the two nuts so that they are together with the words "Oskar's" "Nut" "Case" all lined up.
A person receiving this puzzle in the starting position should just follow the above instructions backwards. Of course, not having these instructions is tantumount to having received an impossible puzzle. This is one of the most difficult puzzles in the Oskar's Exotics collection.
Gear Head Solution
Think of the puzzle as two planetary gear sets - layers 1& 2, layers 3 & 4 - connected through the core gear, and the problem as having the top pair (1 & 2) and bottom pair (3 & 4) coincident when the pairs themselves are aligned. Then it is a 2 dimensional search. So:
* Make all rotations below in a consistent direction holding the other pair so it does not rotate.
* Watch for the solution when all four notches are aligned, while doing:
1) Rotate the bottom layer (4) until it is aligned with its interior counterpart(3)
2) Rotate the top layer (1) until it is aligned with its interior counterpart (2)
3) Repeat step 2 until the top layer's interior (2) has rotated a full revolution
4) If you haven't found the solution yet, repeat the process from step 1 until you have full alignment.
