missing puzzle names
Otis, you did good for a very quick introduction to my toys!I'll supply some missing names going from the top down.
The first is pirsquared's Pascal's Jumble first shown on TP on June 12
That Mod was made by Dave Litwin. It's called a Rhombic Dodecahedron (I think)
The Ozo bears were made by Sian of TP. He sold 2 on ebay around this time last year. And for the record, I sent him a pm the first day he put those up on TP and told him I wanted them. I think it took him almost 2 years and a lot of begging from me to get them. But for me, It was love at first sight.
The pentangle is the slide puzzle. A real beast to turn. And fairly expensive.
The Taiwanese gripple is another you didn't get the name of. (9 colored dials)
Disctrix was sold on eBay for $9. That guy originally wanted something like $40,000US or some other crazy amount. He was trying to get a patent sold I guess.
The 4 unknown puzzles are incas.
The white Muse puzzle is a sample. It was never made.
The Bugs Bunny Ufo is made by the same man who makes the Platypus'-Hanover from Taiwan.
The 5 dominos are: groove, spindle, taiwan, Russian, and Blind.
The unknown puzzles are made by Oskar: Minimal twist and floppy 2x3x3.
The 90's football puzzle is a Uriblock.
I enjoy showing others my toys. Especially people who enjoy toys themselves.
Let me see what else I can answer. The gear cubes are coming out in Japan, and there are more than 2 versions...
And I hope to be at the next Guangzhou open/Mod competition. But I have a feeling it is the same week as IPP, and since I've already paid for that trip, Guangzhou is out. MING! Change the DATE!!! NOT the first weekend in August! |
