Rubik’s cube
Today, I’m going to talk about Rubik’s cube. I think all of you know what a Rubik’s cube is, but I’ll explain it just in case you don’t know. Rubik’s cube is a cube, with different colors on each su**ce, each su**ce has 9 boxes. When you twist the cube around, it will be messed up with different colors on each side. I think you know how hard to solve it, but it’s actually not that hard.
First of all, I’ll talk about the history of Rubik’s cube. The Rubik’s cube was invented in 1974, by a Hungarian guy named Erno Rubik. He was a professor on how to build stuff, and also a guy that makes scupture. He did not invent it to become a toy. He invented to show his students about structures and 3d stuff. But later, he found out that it’s really hard to get it fixed after twisting it. He thought this would be a good toy and so he authorized a company to make it and sell it, then people got crazy on it later on. It was the most popular puzzle in the 80s. In between 1980 to 1982, almost 2 million cubes were sold, and it reached to more than 300 million cubes until now.
Secondly, I’ll introduce you some different cubes. Cube is not just about 3x3x3, 3x3x3 means the most popular one. It means that it has 3 blocks x 3 blocks x 3 blocks. There are 4x4x4, 5x5x5, 6x6x6… as well with the highest of 11x11x11, however one thing is  interesting that even though there are 11x11x11, no 10x10x10, 8x8x8 are produced, because cubes with even number x even number are harder to make, it is harder to design a structure of a even number cube. That’s why the odd number cubes always come out earlier than the even number ones. Cubes don’t have to be a shape of a square, you see the normal cubes have 6 sides, but some have 12 sides, with each su**ce a shape of a pentagon. There are also cubes that look like a soccer, I think you know about normal soccer, it is a pentagon in the middle, and 5 hexagons sticking to each side of the pentagon, and that cube looks really like a soccer, except it’s colorful. Of course, this is only a very very small part of all different kinds of cubes.
One thing that I think the cube is cool that, a normal 3x3 has a lot and a lot of forms. What is a form? Well, for a fixed cube, it is one form, if you turn one side, that’s another form, and if turn again on another side, it becomes another form. When you just randomly scramble a cube, it will also be one form that differs to others. And this number of the permutation is huge, I don’t know how to describe, I’m going to say it in number, it is

Lastly I’m going to talk about why I think it is fun to play a Rubik’s cube. First, it uses your brain, it is actually not that hard to fix a cube, go surfing on the internet and there will be a lot of videos which telling you how to solve a Rubik’s cube; Second, it is small and you can take it out and play at any time. Last but not the least, you are just going to love it when you can fix it fast, you will love the feeling that each time you break your record, you are just going to love everything about it! So, get a cube and start playing!

给文章做了些小改动, 没有试图去改整体结构, 主要是语法方面的, 还是按照楼主的水平来的. 希望能对楼主有帮助. 楼主对鲁比克职业的描述, 我也不知道怎样改才好, 就放下了.

要是把第二个different改成with different colors on each face会不会好点？
